Zulu Bangle by Woza Moya | Handmade in South Africa

Established in 2002, Woza Moya is a social enterprise dedicated to reducing poverty through craft. Our products are unique, with major galleries collecting the works of our crafters. Our focus is on assisting individuals affected by HIV/AIDS in earning an income, in line with the South African principle of Ubuntu.

Woza Moya is the economic empowerment project of the Hillcrest AIDS Centre Trust, which has been serving those impacted by HIV/AIDS since 1991. Through practical care, we aim to uplift and empower individuals through projects like Woza Moya, providing them with craft skills and income opportunities.

Since our inception, we have trained over 350 crafters, most of whom are first-time earners supporting multiple dependents. Woza Moya currently supports 350 local crafters and provides market access to an additional 1500 crafters monthly. Over 95% of our beneficiaries are women who are often the primary breadwinners in their families.

Our handcrafted products, including vibrant bangles and jewelry, are made from the highest quality glass beads by skilled South African artisans. These authentic creations have garnered attention from major galleries and have become collectible items.
